Learn about SmartWorking ®

Numerous factors influence our productivity at work including our environment, the technology at our fingertips and the way we feel. Each of these factors can have either a positive or negative impact on how much work we get done. Working in an office can be great for socialising, collaboration & creating a buzz but on the other hand it can also make it difficult to concentrate. Similarly, technology such as e-mail and other collaboration platforms can provide us with instant communication but may also mean we receive a continuous stream of interruptions. The point is this, to be both productive & satisfied at work we need to find a healthy balance.
Our goal at SNH is to help people achieve more in less time without removing any of the enjoyment or compromising the quality of the work they do. We help them to work smarter (not harder) and in doing so aim to save them a minimum of 3 days per month. Imagine what you could do with an extra 3 days per month?
The SNH SmartWorking programme does this by providing you with a range of simple, easy to implement, tried & tested tools which form the foundation of first-class time management (in this “always on” digital age). Most people see immediate results and typically achieve a significant improvement within a matter of weeks

What is CPD?
CPD or ‘Continuing Professional Development’ is about ongoing learning in a professional context.
Every profession, from accountants to marketers, is represented by a professional body or institute. These professional institutions formalised CPD, transforming it from something that professionals undertook on their own into an institutionalised construct in the form of CPD policies and programmes. CPD is embedded as a pillar of professionalism in every sector of industry.
CPD is recognised on a global scale as an extremely effective learning method. It is a global practice used by hundreds of millions of people across all industries, professions, and disciplines.
Note: CPD is not a qualification, but rather a collection of all the smaller pieces of learning that are accomplished AFTER being qualified to remain current and relevant. Without CPD, qualifications would quickly become outdated.
You do not have to be a member of a professional body to undertake CPD. Whether you are seeking to become more employable or develop new skills, CPD can become a natural learning process in everyday life.
Why is CPD Important?
CPD has now started to become an important factor in determining who gets hired in the professional field as employers do not only focus on academic qualifications nowadays.
By undertaking regular, focused CPD, individuals have the ability to hone and sharpen these ‘human skills’. In turn, this creates a motivated, effective and resourceful professional with improved performance capability and productivity skills.
